National Award for Middle Leaders
Who is the Award For?
The National Award for Middle Leaders is an effective pathway for developing new or aspiring middle leaders on a programme which is nationally recognised, accredited and quality assured by the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust. The award offers a route to achieving a Masters Accreditation through points exemption from University of Nottingham course modules (minimum of 5 modules).
What Does it Involve?
The ten modules are delivered throughout the academic year. The sessions are delivered twilight (16:00 - 18:00), thus reducing the need for interruptions to students’ learning and cover costs.
All modules are accredited by the SSAT and delegates will receive a certificate upon completion of their final module.
Value and Impact
The programme offers participants the opportunity to develop knowledge of the key concepts underpinning ‘good’ leadership and to understand the impact of ‘good’ leadership on Teaching and Learning. Participants enjoy engaging in pedagogical discussion and benefit from opportunities for mutual support.
2015-16 delegates rated all module material and delivery as outstanding!
All sessions take place on Mondays, 12:30 - 17:30, alternatively at Heartlands Academy and Shenley Academy.
